Dr. Justin Norell is a dedicated oral and maxillofacial surgeon who is honored to be able to serve the Central Florida area as he takes up practice at Central Florida Oral & Facial Surgery alongside Dr. Jaffal. Being a Florida native and lifelong Gator, Dr. Norell is committed to treating the patients and communities that have helped shape him into the provider he is today.
Dr. Norell began his professional training at the University of Florida College of Dentistry, where he completed his Doctorate in Dental Medicine (DMD) and received a high honors designation. He then attended the University of Florida College of Medicine and obtained his Doctorate in Medicine (MD). He completed his six-year residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at UF where he received specialized anesthesia training within the Department of Anesthesiology, completed a general surgery internship within the Department of Surgery, and developed extensive experience in the foundational scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery.
Dr. Norell is excited to join Dr. Jad Jaffal in delivering compassionate care to the patients of The Villages and surrounding communities. Outside of his professional life, Dr. Norell enjoys spending time with his better half, Daniela, who also happens to be an oral maxillofacial surgeon, as well as their 2 rescued canines, Storm and Max. In his free time, Dr. Norell likes to exercise, hike with his dogs, cycle, and enjoy pizza dates with his fiancé.
Dr. Norell wants his patients to know that his treatment philosophy is as follows: “Treat em’ like family.” He wants his patients to know that he is committed to making those in his care feel comfortable, safe, and heard. Dr. Norell and his team will work tirelessly to ensure the highest level of expertise and courtesy is delivered to each patient who walks through the doors of Central Florida Oral & Facial Surgery.
